About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at Eye Care for Animals Defense Hwy, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to pets, working closely with our experienced team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on care to patients, including facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests
  • Assist with surgery and support services, including admitting and discharging patients
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent customer service
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing personalized care and support
Requirements
  • Previous veterinary technician/assistant experience required
  • Licensed Technician preferred, but not required
  • Proficient in IV catheters placement, blood work, and IV, IM, and SQ injections
  • Proficient in monitoring anesthesia and working with various monitoring equipment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
