Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Blood Cancer Unit at Medical City Dallas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all department functions and ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Lead and manage a team of nursing staff to ensure excellent patient care and service
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of resources
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in a healthcare setting, including experience in a blood cancer unit or hematology department
  • Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license required
  • Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Provider certification required
