Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse in the Ortho Trauma department at Atrium Health Charlotte, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a team dedicated to delivering high-quality nursing services. Our 19-bed unit offers private rooms and is equipped to handle orthopedic trauma injuries and other traumatic conditions requiring surgical intervention.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering individualized care to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities:
  • Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with orthopedic trauma injuries and other complex conditions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Assist with medical overflow and support critical care needs as needed
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
  • BLS certification required per policy guidelines
  • Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state of North Carolina
