Overview


The Lead Construction Quality Analyst within the Construction Quality Assurance division plays a pivotal role in enhancing quality management initiatives for Central Operations. This position involves a thorough examination of existing financial, procedural, and operational controls to ensure their precision and effectiveness.

The Lead Construction Quality Analyst will engage in data examination utilizing advanced data visualization tools and will create metrics and dashboards to facilitate trend analysis.

This role is essential in supporting Construction Quality Assurance and operational sectors by delivering necessary documentation, data insights, and risk assessments as required.

Core Responsibilities

The Lead Construction Quality Analyst is responsible for:

  • Conducting Snapshot reviews to pinpoint and assess risks, opportunities for process enhancements, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Participating in departmental projects that involve technological advancements and proof of concepts.
  • Managing and maintaining the CQA SharePoint site.
  • Executing QA Reviews/Snapshots to evaluate compliance and identify potential risks.
  • Performing data management, statistical sampling, and analysis to meet organizational requirements.
  • Engaging in departmental Operational Self Assessments (OSAs) to uncover process improvement opportunities.

Collaboration is key; the Lead Construction Quality Analyst will work closely with CQA team members to formulate, plan, and implement strategies aimed at measuring indicators and enhancing work practices within Central Operations.

Additionally, this role involves reporting to management on trends and analyses that highlight areas of concern.

Key collaborative efforts include:

  • Assessing work processes through reviewing procedures and records, utilizing quality management tools, and identifying source data for improvement recommendations.
  • Identifying automation opportunities through data analysis and technology.
  • Developing indicators and dashboards with data visualization tools to present organizational metrics, performance, and compliance.
  • Working with internal stakeholders to create quality control checklists and reporting requirements.
  • Participating in the Construction Storm Damage Assessment on-call team.
  • Engaging in additional related tasks and assignments as necessary.

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Construction Management, or a related field with 4 years of relevant experience; or an Associate's Degree in the same fields with 6 years of experience; or a High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of relevant experience.

Licenses and Certifications

Valid Driver's License is required.

Additional Physical Demands

The role requires the ability to respond to company emergencies by executing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to customers. Candidates must be prepared to work in adverse weather conditions and must possess a valid driver's license and personal vehicle for travel between various work locations.

Physical capabilities include the ability to wear standard Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the flexibility to work off-hours, including weekends and holidays, as necessary.
