Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Specialist to join our team at Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. The successful candidate will support quality management activities for Central Operations by examining existing financial, procedural, and operational controls for accuracy, effectiveness, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform data analysis using data visualization tools and develop metrics and dashboards to conduct trend analysis.
  • Support Construction Quality Assurance and the operating areas by providing supporting documentation, data, and risk analysis, when necessary.
  • Assist with conducting Snapshot reviews to identify and evaluate risks, process improvement opportunities, and adherence to Organizational compliance.
  • Participate in departmental projects related to technology initiatives and proof of concepts.
  • Manage monthly closing procedures for accruals and other items.
  • Administer and maintain CQAs SharePoint site.
  • Assist with QA Reviews/Snapshots to identify confidences, risks, and adherence to Organizational compliance.
  • Keep accurate records utilizing spreadsheets, daily logs, and computer applications.
  • Assist with data management, statistical sampling, and data analysis to support organizational needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Construction Management, or related field of study and 2 years related work experience or
  • Associate's Degree in Mathematics, Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Construction Management, or related field of study and 4 years related work experience or
  • High School Diploma/GED and 6 years related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Work experience in quality management and/or IT auditing.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Power Automate, UML, Visio.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, R.
Physical Demands

The work environment consists of office and field visits. May be required to work off hours including weekends and holidays. Must be able to respond to emergencies if required.
