Job Summary:

The Construction Superintendent will oversee the overall field management and administration of projects, ensuring timely completion, quality, and safety. This role involves managing a team of field employees, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and with a focus on establishing positive relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors, vendors, and field employees.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality control requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide training and mentorship to field personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including daily and weekly status reports.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement safety programs, quality control measures, and risk management strategies.
  • Represent the company at project meetings and interviews.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Proven track record of construction and/or management experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction contracts, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ability to provide professional representation at project interviews.
  • Proficient in public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of OSHA 1926 and related corporate safety programs.
  • Ability to manage an entire project field force commensurate with high-risk large projects.
