Position Overview
As a Retail Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the daily activities of the store to drive sales and profitability while safeguarding company assets. Your leadership will ensure that the store is well-stocked and visually appealing, enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in planning and executing store operations and scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies to maintain operational excellence.
- Support inventory management by participating in the unloading and stocking processes.
- Achieve personal and team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive results.
- Oversee visual merchandising and ensure adherence to seasonal layouts and promotional displays.
- Manage inventory processes and merchandise operations, including Omni-channel initiatives.
- Implement shrink reduction and safety programs to protect store assets.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance performance and support their professional development.
- Foster a positive and respectful work environment, serving as a role model for team members.
- Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) when required.
- Engage with customers to provide assistance and solutions to their inquiries.
- Participate in Omni-channel processes as needed.
Additional Responsibilities
Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support store operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in retail management or leadership roles.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capability to navigate throughout the store and stockroom.
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching required.
- Ability to lift heavy items and access high shelves using ladders or similar equipment.
- If assistance is needed to perform job functions, please consult with a supervisor for reasonable accommodations.
Work Environment
- Work is conducted in a public retail setting, with climate-controlled areas for customer interaction. Some stockrooms may not be climate-controlled, and outdoor tasks may be assigned.
Compensation
The total base pay range for this position is $28.40.
