Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Registered Nurse to join our BMT department at our Dallas Medical City location.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology nursing and experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care for patients, adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations.
  • Assess health status by interviewing patients regarding current status and medical history.
  • Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and other instructional material.
  • Provide psychosocial support to patients and families.
  • Facilitate clinical operations and patient care, including triaging patient phone calls and documenting relevant information in the patient's chart.
  • Act as a resource to LPN/LVNs and medical assistants.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of RN experience, with oncology experience strongly preferred.
  • Current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
