Role Overview:

The chosen candidate will play a vital role in supporting equipment installations and maintenance as necessary. Responsibilities include assisting with the assembly of equipment, ensuring proper functionality, and managing the uncrating and positioning of equipment. The individual will also be tasked with operating service and delivery vehicles to transport equipment to designated locations, utilizing a lift-gate as needed. Collaboration with other branch personnel and service technicians will be essential, along with a willingness to work flexible hours.
Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
  • 0-1 year of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Ability to safely work with mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Basic understanding of Welding, Hydraulics, and Electrical systems
  • Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical issues
  • Foundational plumbing and soldering skills
  • Basic knowledge of CO2 and Freon
  • Familiarity with moving tools and equipment
  • Strong customer service abilities, including issue resolution and effective communication
  • Experience managing expense reports and travel budgets

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift 50-75 lbs with or without assistance
  • Capability to climb up to 8 ft using a ladder; working on rooftops may be required
  • Extensive driving, approximately 5-6 hours per day
  • Physical activities including kneeling, squatting, bending, and pushing/pulling
  • Exposure to various environmental conditions such as noise, heat, cold, and wet surfaces
  • Willingness to travel for overnight and multi-day assignments
