Key Responsibilities
- Guide the sales team in effective closing strategies through hands-on training and active engagement, while overseeing the profitability of your teams.
- Oversee all showroom operations and maintain a high level of product expertise.
- Ensure exceptional Customer Satisfaction ratings and analyze metrics to identify areas for enhancement.
- Recruit, inspire, and evaluate the performance of the New and Used sales teams, Internet Sales, Finance Managers, and Service Drive Sales.
- Conduct regular sales training sessions for Sales and Product Specialists.
- Support both new and seasoned sales representatives in adopting best practices to enhance performance.
- Implement and manage a CRM system to ensure timely follow-up with all potential buyers.
- Establish and oversee delivery protocols, ensuring effective execution.
- Guarantee that delivery includes an introduction to the service department and scheduling of the initial service appointment.
- Meet and exceed dealership and OEM sales forecasts, gross, and key expense objectives on a monthly and annual basis.
Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience as a General Sales Manager, overseeing the complete variable operations of a successful dealership.
- Proven track record in building and training a successful sales team, achieving strong CSI scores, and generating above-average gross and net departmental profits.
- Robust experience in driving showroom and internet traffic, SEO and SEM strategies, direct mail, and other traditional marketing methods.
- Extensive experience in leading a Business Development Center (BDC).
- Some familiarity with Used Vehicle acquisition, merchandising, and marketing.
- Expertise in supervising desk managers and enhancing F&I income through mentorship and training.
