Schedule Requirements:
Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays to accommodate operational needs. Responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing amusement rides and electrical systems as assigned.

Engages in related tasks such as responding to downtime calls, ongoing maintenance, installations, and annual projects within the Ride Electrical department.

Responsibilities:
Ensures the electrical maintenance and safe operational condition of all amusement rides.

Conducts inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical systems related to rides, ride control systems, computers, and PLCs. Responsible for installing electrical conduits and wiring; cleaning electrical components; maintaining controls and motors on rides; and ensuring proper lighting and solid-state drives on rides.

Modifies electrical and electronic systems as necessary to guarantee ride safety and efficiency.
Reviews technical documents, blueprints, schematics, and catalogs to support maintenance, repair, and rehabilitation tasks.
Prepares and maintains inspection sheets, daily work logs, downtime records, modification forms, and various reports.

Performs all tasks in compliance with departmental policies, regulations, and quality and safety standards.
Refers to policy manuals, maintenance manuals, technical guides, ride manuals, and vendor catalogs as needed.
Orders and assists in maintaining inventory of supplies, parts, and materials.
Maintains assigned equipment in a safe and operational condition; ensures a clean and safe work environment.

Interacts and communicates with various stakeholders, including supervisors, park managers, staff, co-workers, guests, vendors, contractors, inspectors, etc.
Performs additional duties as assigned.



Qualifications:


Capable of executing complex inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical systems on rides, ride control systems, computers, and PLCs.

Strong understanding of electrical theory, methods, practices, terminology, tools, and materials used in electrical maintenance.

Excellent skills in interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and sketches.
Must be comfortable working at heights up to 250 feet. Highly skilled in managing electrical components of amusement rides. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Electrical field education or a 2-year certificate is preferred. Training in electrical or industrial engineering and proficiency in drafting software such as Vectorworks or AutoCAD is advantageous. A valid driver's license is required.
Must comply with state certifications and/or licensing.

Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as an electrician, including 2 years in a similar industrial or commercial setting.

Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to fulfill operational needs.
