Position Level: Mid to Senior Level

Shift Requirements: Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays to accommodate operational needs.

The Electrical Ride Foreperson operates under the guidance of the Ride Electrical Manager, tasked with the inspection, upkeep, and repair of rides and electrical systems throughout the park. This role also includes supervising a team of electricians and performing related duties as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and carpentry maintenance as needed.
  • Operate rides during staff shortages.
  • Utilize various equipment, including vehicles, boom trucks, and diagnostic tools.
  • Refer to technical manuals, maintenance guidelines, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain inspection sheets, work records, and various reports.
  • Attend workshops and training to stay updated on industry standards.
  • Address inquiries and concerns from staff and guests regarding ride safety.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained in safe working condition and uphold a clean work environment.
  • Supervise and guide subordinate crew members, providing training and support.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare reports as necessary.
  • Review technical documents to assist in maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Modify electrical systems to enhance ride safety and efficiency.
  • Assist with programming and maintaining PLC systems.
  • Diagnose electrical issues and oversee necessary repairs.
  • Respond promptly to work orders and maintenance requests.
  • Lead inspections and repairs of rides and related systems.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and report any unsafe conditions.
Qualifications:
  • Vocational/technical degree in electrical systems.
  • 6-8 years of experience as a Senior Electrician or Journeyman.
  • 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 225 feet.
  • Ability to pass mandatory drug tests and background checks.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
