Position Overview

Salary: Compensation is based on experience, ranging from $36/hr to $46.93/hr depending on the level of expertise.

Job Type: Full-time, year-round

Position Level: Entry to Mid-Level

Shift Requirements: Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays to accommodate operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of amusement rides and attractions.
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspections, taking corrective actions as necessary.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all repairs and inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively regarding the status of rides, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained in a safe and operational condition, adhering to applicable codes and company policies.
  • Read and interpret manufacturer manuals and blueprints for service and repair tasks.
  • Interact with various stakeholders, including supervisors, park management, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area, reporting any unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Meet attendance and scheduling requirements as outlined by company policies.
Qualifications
  • Vocational diploma in mechanical or industrial maintenance, with at least one year of relevant experience.
  • Forklift and man lift certifications are required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 250 feet.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory drug test and background check.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
