We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Sevita, a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized support and care to individuals with complex needs, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to support participants in achieving their goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Support participants in developing life skills, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
- Provide emotional support and stability to individuals with behavioral challenges.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- No prior experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and grow with our team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required for day and evening shifts.
- Competitive hourly rate of $20.00 per hour.
- Full benefits package for employees working 32+ hours/week, including a 401(k) with a 3% company match.
