About the Role

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team in Seattle. As a key member of our behavioral health team, you will play a vital role in providing primary community support and case management to mentally ill, homeless, and substance abuse clients.

Responsibilities
  • We are seeking an experienced professional to conduct intake screenings, assess client needs, and develop personalized service plans.
  • You will work closely with clients, advocating for their needs and connecting them with essential services.
  • Maintain accurate records of case management activities, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
Requirements
  • An Associate's degree in Behavioral Health or a related field is required, along with two years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in forming effective relationships with clients, team members, and community providers.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish is mandatory.
  • Must be eligible for Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration from the State Department of Health and obtain an active license within 90 days of hire.
