Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated professional to enhance our technology framework at NorthCountry Federal Credit Union. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our Azure Cloud infrastructure, VMware Horizon, and ESXi environments, ensuring the seamless and secure operation of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage Azure Cloud infrastructure solutions tailored to meet the evolving requirements of our financial institution.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of Windows Server environments through effective maintenance and optimization.
  • Oversee VMware Horizon and ESXi environments, focusing on virtualization infrastructure and desktop solutions.
  • Provide expert technical support for network, server, and cloud-related challenges, ensuring prompt resolution to minimize disruptions.
  • Configure and maintain Palo Alto Firewalls to uphold network security and compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage Cisco network devices, including routers, switches, and access points, to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate infrastructure needs and implement strategic solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and proactively address potential issues.
  • Document system configurations and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Support the helpdesk team by providing guidance on complex technical issues as needed.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies related to systems, networks, and cloud computing.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in systems and network engineering, with a focus on Azure Cloud technologies.
  • A two-year college degree or equivalent specialized training.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory and PowerShell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware Horizon and ESXi.
  • Strong understanding of Azure Cloud services, including VMs and Azure Security.
  • Experience in configuring Palo Alto Firewalls for network security.
  • Proficiency in managing Cisco network devices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications.
  • VMware and Palo Alto Networks certifications.
  • Cisco certifications.
  • Experience in regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices.
