Job Overview

Position: Facilities Engineer

As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a Facilities Engineer (IC1 G2) to enhance our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering technical support for the organization’s infrastructure and hosting services.
  • Assisting in IT Infrastructure & Operations, including Network/Server and Storage management.
  • Facilitating additional build-outs and ensuring compliance with established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Building and maintaining relationships with third-party service providers, including ISPs and cloud vendors.
  • Supporting a diverse environment with various hardware vendors such as Cisco, HP, Dell, and F5, along with MS Windows and Linux systems.
  • Ensuring adherence to SLAs for IT services, guaranteeing functional operation.
  • Researching and recommending potential technology solutions to support new initiatives and procurement efforts.
  • Conducting regular reviews and tests to ensure the availability of critical systems.
  • Participating in escalation procedures for timely issue resolution.
  • Contributing to the definition and maintenance of IT Infrastructure standards and policies.
  • Implementing ITIL-based policies and procedures, including change management.
  • Maintaining a high-quality environment to promote client retention.
  • Documenting infrastructure changes and creating tickets in the ticketing system.
  • Overseeing data center operations with 24-hour monitoring and support, which may require overtime.
  • Performing physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Carrying out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT technical environments and solutions.
  • Experience in supporting data center operations.
  • Proven track record in delivering solutions in Internet, network, communications, financial, enterprise, cloud, or data center settings.
  • Strong vendor management capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet and exceed expectations consistently.
  • Collaborative and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as MCSE, networking, or ITIL/ITSM.
  • Innovative approach to problem-solving with a strong sense of teamwork.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Note: This position requires shift work, with hours from Monday to Friday, 12 AM to 9 AM.
