Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage and inspire all North America Administration personnel, ensuring the department operates as a unified and efficient entity.
- Mentor, coach, and cultivate employees into future leaders.
- Establish and uphold our internal control framework.
- Advocate for North America Administration's technical needs to the Global Technology team during the development of new software and capabilities.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key clients and signings.
- Represent UMPG in the industry, engaging with organizations such as ASCAP, BMI, MLC, SOCAN, CMRRA, and other relevant operational groups.
- Enhance service levels by fostering relationships with major income source organizations.
- Refine and advance departmental processes, leveraging current and future technological systems and solutions.
- Oversee the deal implementation process, ensuring all agreements, songs, and catalogs are executed accurately and promptly.
- Develop robust cross-disciplinary relationships globally to support both local and international initiatives and priorities.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Music Publishing industry, specifically in Operations, Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience managing high-performing teams, including experience in managing managers.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity effectively, translating complex ideas into clear and actionable insights.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong capability to engage with Senior Management, Executives, and colleagues at local and international levels.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a proactive self-starter who takes ownership of tasks and projects.
