Senior Operations Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Support Specialist to join our team at Prelude Fertility. This role plays a critical supporting role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our company's RCM operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Training and Development: Provides training to new hires, special training requests, and process improvement changes or new implementations, including Charge Entry, Billing, Coding, and Cash Posting. AR follow-up training and training new users on our EMR and Workflow applications.
  • EMR Database Management: Responsible for updating insurance payers, CPTs, diagnosis, and various other data tables within the EMR application. Provides technical support to users that encounter issues, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems.
  • Workflow Applications: Responsible for setting up and managing internal and 3rd party user accounts regarding various workflow tools. Provides technical support to users that encounter issues, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems.
  • System Maintenance and Quality Audits: Responsible for system maintenance, package builds, payer enrollments, payer portal administration, quality audits, and special projects.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Serves as a subject matter expert on a wide variety of concepts, practices, and procedures necessary to meet the goals of the department as it relates to insurance.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Prepare analyses, leadership summaries, and initiative reviews as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years' work experience in similar or related position or other office environment.
  • Medical Experience: Medical related Cash Posting, Billing, and Charge Entry experience required.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of medical insurance billing terminology and processes.
