About the Engineering / R&D Division
The QA Engineer (Data Protection) position is integral to Nutanix's Disaster Recovery and Backup (BCDR) team. Our DR QA team consists of over 50 engineers located in various regions, promoting a collaborative, skilled, and welcoming environment that encourages continuous learning and knowledge sharing. Team members work together to address challenges efficiently and effectively, while also engaging with other departments to foster professional growth and development.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive System Testing to replicate customer scenarios and validate product readiness for release.
- Design intricate test environments and maintain them.
- Create and automate detailed System Test Plans.
- Execute tests to uncover defects and analyze root causes of failures.
What You Will Contribute
- 6-8 years of experience in software engineering.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Perl, C, C++, or Java.
- Capability to debug and enhance automated tests.
- Expertise in troubleshooting complex distributed applications.
- Experience in designing and developing test plans.
- Background in testing systems products.
- Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming, algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with enterprise networking and virtualization concepts.
