Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Workers' Compensation Attorney to enhance our team. This permanent position presents an opportunity to engage with significant cases and offer legal guidance to a diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of Workers' Compensation law and Insurance Defense, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities:

As a Workers' Compensation Attorney, your responsibilities will include:

1. Managing all phases of workers' compensation cases from initial consultation to resolution.
2. Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and findings of fact.
3. Representing clients in litigation before workers' compensation judges or boards.
4. Advocating for employers or insurance carriers in various legal proceedings, including hearings and mediations.
5. Maintaining regular communication with clients, medical professionals, and opposing counsel.
6. Conducting thorough legal research and analysis of relevant statutes and case law.
7. Formulating strategies and negotiating settlements on behalf of clients.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active license to practice law in the relevant state.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in workers' compensation and insurance defense.
4. Proven ability to manage all aspects of workers' compensation cases.
5. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
6. Excellent analytical abilities and strategic thinking.
7. Capacity to manage a high volume of cases and prioritize effectively.
8. Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
