About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Apple's Design Human Factors team as a manager. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading a group of talented designers and researchers who are passionate about creating products that are intuitive, user-friendly, and accessible to everyone.

The Design Human Factors team at Apple is responsible for ensuring that our products meet the needs of diverse users, including those with disabilities. We work closely with other teams across the company to design and develop products that are both functional and beautiful.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of designers and researchers to develop and implement human-centered design solutions for Apple products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that design solutions meet business and technical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and research methods to ensure that our products remain competitive and innovative.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of high-quality design solutions.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in design leadership, with a focus on human-centered design and user experience.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering successful design projects.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, human factors, and user experience design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
