Job Title: Vice President of Human Resources

Vital Chemicals is seeking a seasoned and strategic Vice President of Human Resources to lead our HR function and drive organizational effectiveness. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping our company culture and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic HR Planning: Develop and execute HR strategies that align with our business objectives and support our short and long-term goals.
  • Partner with Senior Leadership: Collaborate with our senior leadership team to align HR initiatives with business objectives and drive organizational success.
  • Performance Management: Design and implement performance management systems to align individual performance with organizational goals and provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance feedback and goal setting.
  • Learning and Development: Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies and identify learning needs and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the design and administration of compensation and benefits programs and ensure that compensation and benefits are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations and develop and implement policies and procedures to minimize legal risks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
  • 10 years of progressive HR experience, with 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience leading change initiatives and driving organizational development efforts.
