Clinical Leadership Specialist

The Clinical Supervisor plays a vital role in the leadership and management of mental health services provided through Gads Hill Center's programs for children and adolescents. This position oversees the implementation of new programs and services, provides leadership in clinical and educational services, and ensures high-quality, culturally competent clinical services for program participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of new programs and services, collaborating with other clinical supervisors to ensure seamless integration.
- Provide leadership in clinical and educational services, program evaluation, program development, and training.
- Maintain high-quality services by basing program design, staff development, and client therapeutic services on research and evidence-based best practices.
- Assist with maintaining fiscal viability and productivity standards of programs, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
- Monitor contract compliance and provide reports as requested, working closely with the development team and quality improvement staff.
- Manage relationships with key partners and external stakeholders to promote Gads Hill Center's counseling and mental health expertise.
Supervision and Training
- Oversee the recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision of interns and clinicians, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies' standards.
- Assist in clinical supervision for unlicensed and non-independently licensed clinical staff, providing input to treatment or service plans for clients.
- Develop and implement relevant training for clinicians and program personnel on treatment protocols, methods, and diagnostic assessment.
- Assist in training staff on clinical intervention strategies, treatment planning, and screenings to ensure quality mental health service delivery.
Clinical Service Delivery
- Carry a caseload, rendering direct services to clients, and plan, coordinate, and implement treatment services and other clinical activities.
- Provide therapy for children/youth in individual, group, or family therapy, engaging in crisis intervention and developing safety plans as needed.
- Perform record-keeping functions and other administrative duties as required by the agency.
- Be available for crisis intervention consultation for all programs at Gads Hill Center.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field required.
- LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT license in Illinois, with at least two years of clinical experience.
- Clinical supervisory experience and prior experience in leadership or management capacity preferred.
- Experience working in school-based programs with children and adolescents is required.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- A valid Illinois driver's license, car, and auto insurance are necessary.
