Job Summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Bilingual Case Worker to join our team. As a Bilingual Case Worker, you will provide direct case management and employment support services to eligible clients in accordance with best practice standards, contract and grant requirements, and Agency practices and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform individual case management through screening clients for program eligibility, conducting needs assessments, making referrals to providers, developing goal plans, and maintaining prompt and regular contact with clients.
  • Conduct group services by providing training and education to eligible clients, hosting and teaching classes, preparing and organizing class materials, and documenting attendance and participation.
  • Conduct outreach through cultivating and maintaining productive relationships with community contacts and diverse organizations, attending community meetings and outreach and recruitment events, educating potential clients about the benefits of programs and services, and supporting recruitment efforts for clients, volunteers, and targeted service providers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field.
  • Two years of experience providing case management services and working with the immigrant population.
  • Bilingual in English and spoken proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Ukrainian, Dari, Pashto, Haitian-Creole, Arabic, or Spanish.
