We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager to join our Platform PM team at Databricks Inc. This team is responsible for the setup, ongoing administration, and governance of the Lakehouse platform, which is critical in driving the broad adoption of Databricks within an organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute product strategies to drive the adoption of the Lakehouse platform, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing, to launch new products and features that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
- Partner with customers to understand their pain points and develop solutions that address their specific needs, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Drive the development of new capabilities to manage the Databricks platform at scale, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards.
- Work closely with the Data Science team to introduce new capabilities that optimize the Databricks usage for performance and cost.
- Enhance Databricks workspace resource and lifecycle management, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Mentor and develop junior PMs, fostering a culture of innovation and growth within the team.
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, with a proven track record of launching and growing enterprise SaaS products.
- Accomplished product manager with prior experience working with large-scale IaaS/SaaS platforms or enterprise B2B products.
- Technical knowledge and experience working with cloud governance and access management products.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with technical leaders, with an ability to deep-dive into complex technical concepts.
- Passion for designing products that simplify the admin persona experience.
- Experience presenting at conferences, interacting with press and analysts, and developing junior PMs.
- Familiarity with data, ML, and AI technologies.
- Ownership and get-stuff-done attitude.
- Educational background in computer science or related engineering field.
