Medical Laboratory Technician

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results, which are essential for diagnosing and treating patient diseases and conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Perform phlebotomy, diagnostic laboratory tests, x-ray procedures, and electrocardiograms-spirometry to assist in diagnosing and treating patient diseases and conditions.
- Recognize unexpected results and instrument malfunctions, and take appropriate action to ensure accurate test results.
- Work closely with providers, nursing staff, and other clinic personnel to ensure the smooth running of the department.
- Collaborate with the Admin Lab Director to ensure compliance with laboratory policies and procedures.
- Associate's degree in biology, chemistry, clinical laboratory, or physical science.
- US Certification/license required.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a hospital or clinic setting desired.
- Proficient in EHR, PM Excel, Work, and other Microsoft Office products.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
