About the Role

As a Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse with TotalMed Staffing, you will provide specialized care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your expertise will be essential in assisting physicians during procedures, monitoring patients, and ensuring safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures by preparing patients and operating equipment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care in the catheterization laboratory.
  • Monitor patients' post-procedure recovery, assess for complications, and provide post-procedure education and support.
  • Maintain a sterile field and ensure adherence to infection control protocols during catheterization lab procedures.
  • Administer medications and monitor vital signs during procedures.
Requirements
  • Current RN license
  • BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
  • 2 years of recent Catheterization Laboratory experience
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
