Job Description: At Houston Federal Credit Union, we are committed to providing our members with exceptional service and support. As a Teller and Member Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping us achieve this goal. Your primary responsibility will be to assist members with their financial transactions, while also maintaining a positive and professional attitude towards all members and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
  2. Sell money orders, gift cards, and process cash advances as needed.
  3. Maintain and balance the cash drawer daily.
  4. Assist with scheduling and monitoring teller activity.
  5. Provide training and support to new employees.
Requirements:
  • One to two years of similar or related experience.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy essential elements of this job.
  • Must be computer literate with excellent communication skills.
  • Must be accurate with numbers and names.
