Job Summary

This position will support the VPC General Manager and Department Managers in various continuous improvement projects at the Vehicle Processing Centers and Headquarters in Irvine, CA. The role involves reviewing current processes, collecting and analyzing data, and reporting to optimize productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Observe and analyze current processes, collect data, and recommend improvement ideas to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Assist General Managers, Department Managers, and VPC staff in daily business operations, providing direction and support regarding daily production goals and requirements.
  • Study and assist in finding solutions for achieving the VPC's KPIs.
  • Assist and communicate with General Managers, GKR, HQ's, and customers, serving as the point-of-contact for General Managers and customers.
  • Define and evaluate current processes, studying inefficient work processes and finding solutions to implement.
  • Attend daily meetings at VPC, providing understanding of daily business issues, plans, and goals.
  • Prepare and submit reports to GM, HQ, GKR, and customers, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

Requirements

  • Must possess great communication, planning, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using time studies applications is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Associates Degree Required.
  • Must hold a valid state-issued driver's license without restrictions.
  • 5-7 years of experience required.

Working Conditions

  • This position works in a plant manufacturing/warehouse setting.
  • Exposure to loud noises from vehicles and heavy machinery.
  • Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
  • Exposure to chemicals/fumes.
