Quality Coordinator (RN)

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Role Overview:

The Quality Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Director of Quality Management in overseeing the hospital's Quality Program. This includes the collection and analysis of data related to quality metrics, environmental safety, infection prevention, quality assurance, and risk assessment. The individual in this position will also contribute to quality meetings and assist in preparing agenda items for essential discussions. Additionally, the Quality Coordinator will support the execution of the hospital's quality strategy, ensure readiness for surveys, and conduct root cause analyses.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Active professional clinical license is mandatory.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation or acute care settings is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a significant area of responsibility such as quality enhancement, risk management, infection prevention, or survey preparedness is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with accreditation standards, including The Joint Commission (TJC) and Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), is preferred.
