Job Title: Clinical Nurse Coordinator Pulmonary

HCA Florida Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Coordinator Pulmonary to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pulmonary department.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care services in the pulmonary department. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care services and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies.
  • Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs.
  • Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required.
  • 2 years acute care RN experience preferred.
  • NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained before employment start date.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
  • PALS Pediatric Adv Life Support, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
  • Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
