Job Title: Strategic Account Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Account Specialist to join our team at LATICRETE International. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key decision makers for national accounts, architectural firms, and major construction projects in the US and Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop target relationships with key decision makers to implement proprietary specifications for all LATICRETE systems.
  • Maintain and grow database of national accounts and key decision makers within Salesforce.
  • Influence key decision makers to implement proprietary specifications for all LATICRETE systems in the US and Canada.
  • Specify and promote all product systems and brands to key decision makers in the US and Canada.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience working in technical sales within the construction industry with a proven track record in selling to national accounts, architects/specifiers, contractors, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with targeted national accounts and architectural firms.
  • Highly successful sales person, comfortable in complex multi-decision maker environment.
  • Proven ability to cold call and secure sales/opportunities on targeted list.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Technically competent in construction methods and standards, including specifications, material selection processes, and key construction phase(s).
  • High level of self-motivation.
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills - presentation and public speaking abilities are a must.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability in leadership and motivation.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and use of presentation tools.
  • Team cooperation - maintain positive, cooperative attitude with all employees of LATICRETE and all customers.
  • Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, clear credit report, and a good driving record.
Travel Requirement:

Must be able to travel 25-50%.

Physical Requirements:

Must pass pre-employment physical.

Must be able to lift and/or carry a minimum of 20 pounds.

Must be able to push/pull 20 pounds.

Must be able to stand 50-75% of the day.

Must be able to sit 25-50% of the day.

Must be able to twist/bend 25-50% of the day.

Must be able to squat/climb/crawl 20% of the day.
