Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in the Central Region. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical leadership and functional support to achieve our Annual Operating Plan growth and operating objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Test and monitor electric motor operational performance
- Troubleshoot motor performance issues and failures in-shop and on-site
- Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) on failed motors
- Develop and deploy technologies that advance our strategic vision and mission
- Establish uniform specifications and work standards for electric motor in-shop repair and field service functions
- 5 years' experience with AC Motors and/or Generators
- Knowledge of AC & DC insulation systems, coil design, and flux calculations
- Working knowledge of IEEE Standards and hands-on experience with troubleshooting AC & DC motor issues
- Proficient with Computer Aided Design (CAD) programs
- Ability to travel up to 1-2 weeks per month
