Job Title: Electrical Engineer - Rotating Equipment Specialist

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in the Central Region. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical leadership and functional support to achieve our Annual Operating Plan growth and operating objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test and monitor electric motor operational performance
  • Troubleshoot motor performance issues and failures in-shop and on-site
  • Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) on failed motors
  • Develop and deploy technologies that advance our strategic vision and mission
  • Establish uniform specifications and work standards for electric motor in-shop repair and field service functions
Requirements:
  • 5 years' experience with AC Motors and/or Generators
  • Knowledge of AC & DC insulation systems, coil design, and flux calculations
  • Working knowledge of IEEE Standards and hands-on experience with troubleshooting AC & DC motor issues
  • Proficient with Computer Aided Design (CAD) programs
  • Ability to travel up to 1-2 weeks per month
