About the Role

The Business Banker is a key member of our team, responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key members of the community, while continuing to service the needs of our existing customers. This role requires a strong knowledge of banking products and services, as well as excellent sales and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with key members of the community and existing customers
  • Execute sales strategies to increase commercial lending revenue and deposit growth
  • Demonstrate flexibility to assist customers on a variety of topics, including selection of deposit accounts, loans, and other products and financial services
  • Act as a main point of contact for current customers and provide a high level of service ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Promote and support deposit origination/growth and offers cash management services
  • Possess a strong knowledge of Bank products and diligently identifies opportunities to recommend products and services to existing and new clients
  • Evaluate client/applicant's needs and credit to determine appropriate lending decision or product for their unique situation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred or relevant experience
  • 3-5+ years successful sales experience in a goal-oriented environment preferred
  • A desire to work within the community and offer solutions as suited
  • Strong communication and negotiating skills
  • 2+ years of commercial related lending desired
  • Strong understanding of banking policies and regulations
