Key Responsibilities- Determine donor eligibility to donate plasma, including proper management of informed consent, medical history interview, and physical examination.
- Manage donor adverse events and review laboratory test results to ensure the quality of our plasma collection process.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our donors and ensure a positive experience at our plasma collection centers.
- Work collaboratively with our medical team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest medical and technical advancements in the field.
- High school diploma or equivalent, including graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements.
- Currently licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: EMT-Paramedic.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification.
- Fulfill state requirements (in state of licensure) for basic IV therapy.
- Satisfactorily complete the FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
- Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
