About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative at Canon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the prompt delivery of various on-site work assignments.

Your Impact
  • You will promptly inform your supervisor of any potential problems or customer concerns, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.
  • You will review and respond to management and client requests in a timely and professional manner, utilizing strong communication skills.
  • You will focus on providing excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • You will contribute to the creation of the Site Procedure Guide, ensuring all account processes are properly recorded and up-to-date.
  • You may be responsible for various tasks, including Copy/Print Production/Copy Center, Copier Maintenance, Mail/Courier Services, Reception/Office Services, Shipping/Receiving, Inventory Services, Warehouse, and File Room/Records File Services, depending on your assigned location.
  • You will attend cross-functional trainings to ensure you can provide coverage when short-staffed, demonstrating your ability to adapt and learn.
  • Your site responsibility and location of coverage may change based on client and/or division needs, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
Mail/Courier Services
  • You will be responsible for the prompt and accurate receiving, sorting, delivery, pick-up, and processing of all courier items, interoffice mail, newspapers, magazines, and all classes of United States Postal Services mail.
  • You will track courier and accountable items, including FedEx, UPS, Certified Mail, and other services.
  • You will research and route unidentified and generic mail, ensuring efficient and accurate processing.
  • You will receive, log, deliver, and track messenger items, providing excellent customer service.
  • You will respond to customer requests, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • You will perform routine upkeep of equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • You will record and track customer inquiries and fulfillment of requests, providing a high level of customer satisfaction.
Device Maintenance
  • You will be responsible for customer satisfaction through the performance and maintenance of reprographic equipment at customer locations.
  • You will follow established maintenance processes and procedures, ensuring equipment is in good working condition.
  • You will maintain routine upkeep of equipment, including cleaning glass and surfaces, clearing paper jams, replenishing toner, and loading paper.
  • You will evaluate equipment issues and notify the service department if unable to resolve, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • You will deliver paper and assist end-users in basic functionality of equipment, providing excellent customer service.
  • You will record meter reads and maintain service activity reports, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • You will monitor supplies and restock inventory, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
Shipping/Receiving
  • You will be responsible for shipping and receiving incoming and outgoing packages, materials, parts, or products, and verifying and maintaining records of all shipments.
  • You will receive shipments and count pieces, retain shipment paperwork, follow delivery schedules for incoming shipments, and secure customer signatures.
  • You will operate shipping/receiving equipment, respond to customer requests, perform data entry, and maintain inventory, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
About You

This is a customer-facing role that requires compliance with customer policies and protocols, which may include COVID-19 vaccination and other measures relating to COVID-19.

We require a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience, plus less than one year of related experience. You will possess:

  • Basic computer skills/technical knowledge.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • The ability to work overtime as needed.
  • The ability to obtain security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter their premises.
  • The ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • The ability to spend extended periods of time standing, bending, walking, reaching, and pulling while performing duties.
