Position Summary
This role is pivotal in orchestrating and overseeing our RFP submissions across the U.S. and Canada from inception to completion. Responsibilities encompass organizing initial RFP discussions, crafting persuasive proposal narratives, collaborating closely with Government Partnerships and Operations teams to tailor content, and steering the quality assurance and editing processes. Beyond proposal creation, this position also engages in competitive analysis and strives to continuously enhance our exceptional proposals. The designation for this role, either Senior Writer or Manager, will be contingent upon the candidate's experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop proposals for key, competitive RFPs in the United States and Canada, totaling approximately 25 to 35 submissions annually.
- Facilitate collaboration among Government Partnerships, Operations, and Pursuits teams to produce top-tier, strategic, and highly localized proposals with a remarkable success rate (90%+).
- Oversee and mentor junior proposal writers, providing ongoing support, constructive feedback, and professional development.
Qualifications
- Required:
- 2-5 years of progressive experience in professional bid writing and sales.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Government Partnerships, Operations, and Engineering to localize proposals and craft compelling narratives that drive market expansion and retention.
- Experience in managing junior Pursuits writers and offering feedback to enhance their skills.
- Preferred:
- Industry experience with highly competitive RFPs and a proven track record of success.
- A strong interest in public transportation and innovative mobility solutions.
