  • Apply HVAC engineering expertise to design and estimate HVAC systems for new and existing customers.
  • Prepare accurate and complete sales presentations and estimates to consummate sales.
  • Independently review plans and specs of HVAC projects, prepare cost estimates, and finalize sales.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers, engineers, distributors, and contractors.
  • Establish strategies for generating new accounts and maintaining existing relationships.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, and facilitate post-sale service and maintenance contracts.
  • Educate prospective customers on products and services, and continually call and maintain relationships with existing accounts.
  • Follow up on sales bids and leads, and seek out new areas of opportunity.
  • Collaborate with inside sales and other team members to satisfy customer needs.
  • Properly turn over bid documents and associated documentation to the Construction Department at time of award.
  • Maintain accurate reporting of scheduling, call reports, expenses, and account targeting.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in HVAC design, estimating, and sales.
  • Proficiency in using Autocad and Revit in designing commercial, industrial, and residential HVAC systems.
  • Customer service and sales experience.
  • Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning and heating systems.
  • Self-directed and strong initiative to complete goals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • PC skills and working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of social media marketing and advertising.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Ability to commute to Mineola, NY on a weekly basis.
