Materials Handler

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials Handler to join our Supply Chain team at NYU Langone Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and delivering medical supplies and equipment to various departments and facilities within the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive and inspect incoming shipments of medical supplies and equipment
- Pack and prepare items for shipping to clinical and non-clinical areas
- Ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment to designated locations
- Perform daily rounding to pick up reusable delivery totes and supply carts for regulatory compliance
- Operate equipment safely, including power pallet jacks, freight elevators, and manual pump jacks
- Deliver bulk, inventory, non-stock, and capital equipment to all departments and areas on the main hospital campus and adjacent off-site facilities
- Obtain signed delivery documents for every delivery and file them appropriately
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, lift heavy materials, and move up to 100 pounds regularly
- 1-2 years of previous warehouse, materials, or inventory experience
- Healthcare supply chain experience a plus
