  • Weekly Pay Schedule
  • Guaranteed Weekly Earnings of $1700
  • Compensation for Solo Miles: $0.53 per Mile based on 1700 Miles per Week
  • Compensation for Solo Stops: $22.00 per Stop with an average of 17 Stops per Week
  • Paid Training Provided
  • Work Schedule: Tuesday to Friday
  • Start Time: 2:00 PM

Our fleet consists of trucks that are three years old or newer. At Ryder, our drivers focus on the route, not the vehicle. All drivers benefit from 24/7 Roadside Assistance provided by trained technicians, and our service employees handle fueling at over 800 maintenance facilities.

  • Deliveries made SOLO to: IA, IL, MI, MN, WI, SD, NE, KS, MO, and ND, with occasional routes to OH and PA
  • Route Type: Regional
  • Tractor Style: Sleeper
  • Trailer Type: Dry Van, 53 feet
  • Ryder provides training on all necessary equipment to ensure your success
  • Freight Type: Touch Retail Merchandise

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Successful completion of a Ryder Drug Test
  • Pass a comprehensive background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last three years
  • Pass a DOT physical examination
  • Complete a Ryder road test
  • Possess the appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Minimum Class A verifiable experience in a tractor-trailer or similar vehicle:
    • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
    • 2 years experience within the last 5 years, OR
    • 5 years experience within the last 10 years
  • Ability to follow both written and oral instructions
  • Capability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
