Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver to fill an immediate opening. This role is based in a regional capacity, providing essential transport services across various states.
Compensation and Benefits
Our drivers can expect a competitive weekly income starting at $1700 or more. Here are some key compensation details:
- Weekly Pay Schedule
- Guaranteed Weekly Earnings of $1700
- Pay Rate: $0.53 per Mile with an average of 1700 Miles per Week
- Stop Pay: $22.00 per Stop with approximately 17 Stops per Week
- Comprehensive Paid Training
- Work Schedule: Tuesday to Friday
- Start Time: 2:00 PM
Our fleet consists of trucks that are three years old or newer, ensuring reliability and comfort. Ryder prioritizes driver service over vehicle maintenance, providing 24/7 roadside assistance by trained technicians.
Route and Equipment Details
- Deliveries across: IA, IL, MI, MN, WI, SD, NE, KS, MO, and ND, with occasional routes to OH and PA
- Regional Route Structure
- Tractor Type: Sleeper
- Trailer Type: 53' Dry Van
- Training on all necessary equipment will be provided
- Freight Type: Touch – Retail Merchandise

Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Pass a drug test and background check
- Valid Class A CDL with necessary endorsements
- Minimum driving experience: 9 months within the last 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years
- Ability to follow instructions and interpret regulations
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Maintain accurate records and logs
- Assist in loading and unloading freight as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
