Job Summary

Ryder System is seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL A Regional to join our team. As a Regional Truck Driver CDL A, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination vehicle to transport goods and materials across the country
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials, meeting customer expectations and deadlines
  • Maintain a clean and safe vehicle, adhering to company and regulatory standards
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or concerns
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test
  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
