We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development/Sourcing Assistant to join our team at Solomon Page in NYC. This role will involve supporting the Sourcing team in the development of products from initial design concept to placement to production to shipment of an item.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in product development or merchandising in the apparel industry and a strong understanding of retail math skills. They will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong analytical and PC skills.

Responsibilities will include supporting purchase order creation, developing a critical eye for product, raw materials, and finishes, and monitoring milestone calendars to ensure deadlines are met. The candidate will also be responsible for communicating with vendors and agents to ensure shipments are delivered on time.
