Pediatric Mental Health Therapist, TCHATT, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences

This position provides mental health therapy to children, adolescents, and family members through the Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT) program at Dell Medical School.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and provide diagnostic impressions.
- Formulate treatment plans according to evidence-based practices and protocols.
- Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions as needed.
- Monitor patients for suicidal/homicidal intent and ensure patient safety if necessary.
- Participate in supervision, feedback, and quality assurance checks.
- Maintain client records and perform data entry as required by protocol.
- Coordinate with referring practitioners, individuals, and family members throughout the treatment.
- Collaborate with project coordinators and administrative assistants to coordinate patient visits.
- Attend training workshops, interdisciplinary meetings, and client staffing as required.
- Be licensed as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent practiced clinician in the State of Texas.
- Three years of post-licensure counseling or related clinical experience is required.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and family systems.
- Strong technology skills, including the ability to perform computer tasks and use electronic health record systems independently.
- Ability to work remotely.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional ethical and practice standards.
