Restaurant Operations Manager

Project Pollo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to lead our team of passionate leaders in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Restaurant Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of 2-3 restaurants, ensuring high-quality products and customer service are delivered to drive restaurant profitability.
- Team Leadership: Foster a team-oriented culture, making quality decisions, and instilling pride and accountability in team members.
- Operations Management: Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including the execution of company policies, procedures, programs, and systems.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices.
- Customer Service: Provide quality products to customers by ensuring each product meets standards and accurately reflects the customer's order.
- Customer Feedback: Solicit customer feedback, share feedback with the team, and use feedback to improve restaurant operations and build brand loyalty.
- Training and Development: Communicate, train, and promote quality standards to team members by utilizing all available tools.
- Recruitment and Staffing: Actively recruit customer-focused team members, maintain adequate staffing levels, and properly orient and train team members to exceed customer expectations.
- Sales and Marketing: Manage sales goals against budget and prior year by providing prompt and friendly customer service, building check averages through team member product training and sales execution, and seeking additional sales through traditional and non-traditional methods.
- Financial Management: Manage profit goals by managing against budget and prior year, ensuring food, labor, and other controllable costs stay within budget, and correct deviations from budget.
- Inventory Management: Plan and manage adequate inventory levels using the restaurant's computerized inventory system and other tools to meet sales demands and minimize loss.
- Asset Management: Manage company's assets by ensuring the restaurant is clean, fully equipped, and all equipment operates properly, and ensure restaurant meets safety and security standards at all times.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Certifications: Must be Food Safety Manager certified.
- Experience: Four years successful restaurant experience.
- Skills: Basic accounting, including invoice reconciliation, debit and credit review, financial statement analysis.
- Personal Qualities: Must be 18 years of age or older, have a driver's license valid under the laws of the state(s) where the team member works, proof of insurance, and a reliable and functional vehicle.
- Work Schedule: Ability to work long hours, scheduled or unscheduled, which will include nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to successfully perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant, manage with little to no supervision, and work with phones, computers, fax machines, copiers, and other automation systems.
