JOB SUMMARY

Ohio Transmission Corporation's corporate marketing team is seeking a skilled and innovative Ecommerce Operations Supervisor to manage and oversee the daily functions of our Ecommerce Platform.

This role is essential in maintaining and enhancing our digital footprint, ensuring a smooth user experience, and spearheading the development and execution of the ecommerce strategy.

As an Ecommerce Operations Supervisor at OTC, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our online sales channel.

You will work closely with the Air marketing team and various departments to ensure the effective implementation of features, digital marketing initiatives, and website enhancements.

The ideal candidate is a strategic planner with a proactive approach, adept at balancing technical oversight with creative solutions.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Oversee daily operations of the ecommerce site to ensure peak performance, speed, and security.
  • Monitor website functionality and provide troubleshooting support for technical issues.
  • Collaborate with digital agencies and internal teams to implement new features, update security protocols, and manage overall website performance.
  • Manage product listings, updates, and site content to align with the Air marketing strategy.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams (IT, marketing, design, customer service, and sales).
  • Prioritize and manage development projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely completion within budget.
  • Work with external developers and agencies as needed to execute complex projects.
  • Develop and maintain an ecommerce roadmap, outlining both short-term and long-term development objectives.
  • Continuously analyze user behavior and feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement enhancements to improve the overall user experience, including navigation, design, and checkout processes.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention.
  • Prepare regular performance reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement SEO strategies and online marketing campaigns.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, IT, or a business-related field.
  • 3+ years of experience managing ecommerce websites or digital projects.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms (e.g., Roc Commerce, Magento, SFCC) and web development technologies.
  • Experience with SEO, Google Analytics, and other web analytics tools.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Attention to detail is crucial for this position.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with clear prioritization.
