Position Overview:

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing psychological services to the older adult population. Your expertise will support the Older Adult Protective Services (OAPS) unit in ensuring the well-being and safety of individuals aged 60 and above who may be vulnerable and unable to advocate for themselves.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct assessments and provide psychological evaluations for clients referred by the OAPS unit.
2. Complete visits to clients' locations within a specified timeframe to ensure timely support.
3. Prepare and submit detailed reports regarding clients' mental capacity to the OAPS team.
4. Participate in guardianship hearings, providing expert testimony as required.
5. Maintain thorough documentation of all client interactions and assessments.

Qualifications:

- Must hold a valid license as a psychologist in Pennsylvania with a clean record.
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience in the field is required.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in working with Area Agencies on Aging or similar organizations.
- Familiarity with the aging service delivery system is essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize client needs effectively.
