As a key member of our Department of Pediatrics, you will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical care, advancing research, and fostering a culture of excellence in teaching and education.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and vision for the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine
- Develop and implement strategic plans to advance clinical care, research, and education
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to achieve divisional goals and objectives
- Recruit and retain top talent in pediatric pulmonology and sleep medicine
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources
- MD/DO degree
- Residency training in Pediatrics
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Pulmonary medicine
- Eligible for VA medical license
- Board certified in Pediatric Pulmonology
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment
- Teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level in a related discipline
- Track record of external funding
- Administrative experience
- Experience successfully mentoring junior colleagues and trainees in all parts of the academic mission
