Job Summary

The Senior Design Manager will be responsible for leading design projects from concept to completion, managing client relationships, and overseeing the work of junior designers. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong understanding of design principles, aesthetics, and project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement design concepts that meet client needs and exceed expectations
  • Manage client relationships and communicate design solutions effectively
  • Oversee the work of junior designers and provide guidance and feedback
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure project success
  • Research and select fixtures and finishes that meet client needs and budget
  • Develop and manage project budgets and schedules
  • Participate in marketing and business development activities to identify new business opportunities

Requirements

  • Graduate degree in interior architecture or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in interior architecture or related field
  • Licensure and/or accreditation in interior architecture or related field
  • Proven track record of successful project management and client relationship management
  • Strong understanding of design principles, aesthetics, and project management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Revit and other design software
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Salary Range

$95,000 - $115,000 (based on education, licensing, and industry experience)
